About the Role

The Field Technician II is a mid-level technical role responsible for conducting advanced testing, inspections, and quality assurance procedures on concrete construction sites. This position supports field operations by ensuring construction materials and methods meet project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. You will provide technical expertise in concrete testing, data analysis, and field problem-solving, while also mentoring junior technicians.

In this role, you will review project documents and understand site survey objections to provide horizontal and vertical control using Total Stations. You will participate in basic layout and field engineering activities, including establishing control lines, laying out foundations, vertical formwork, decks, and required embeds. You will also oversee Field Layout Technicians, manage document control for the latest drawings, track RFIs, and ensure as-builts are recorded per company standards. This position requires working during inclement weather and being exposed to extreme temperatures, noise, and dust depending on the project site.
