At Wells, we take pride in building structures that last. Whether in operations, manufacturing, or out in the field, every team member plays a direct role in creating quality infrastructure that supports our communities. We value hard work, reliability, and teamwork, fostering an environment where you can build your experience, contribute to meaningful work, and make a tangible impact.
As a member of our precast installation crew, you will perform general labor duties working safely and efficiently with wood, metal, and concrete using hand and power tools. You will report to the Field Foreman and Field Superintendent, operating lifts and receiving training in welding, grouting, and patching. This role is essential for installing precast members, handling rigging, assisting with crane hookups, and preparing footings for layout.
Safety is our highest priority. We believe a safe workplace is built on mutual respect, care, and accountability. Every team member is empowered and expected to follow safety practices, look out for one another, and speak up about potential risks. Together, we create an environment where everyone goes home safely each day.
This is a physically demanding role requiring the ability to work outdoors in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather. You must be comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts. The position may require travel and being away from home as needed.
Candidates must be eligible for membership in the local laborers' union. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and OSHA 10 Hour certification is preferred. We seek individuals with general math skills, the ability to read blueprints and tape measures, and a basic understanding of construction practices.
Wells is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities. We participate in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your I-9 Form information to confirm you are authorized to work in the U.S.
