This position focuses on the mechanical craft work required to maintain, repair, and rebuild heavy vehicles, automotive, and construction equipment within the Northern Maine region. You will operate with a high degree of independence in a field environment, utilizing independent judgment to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and evaluate overall equipment conditions.
Your day-to-day work involves performing skilled technical tasks in the field, on the road, or in a field garage. Responsibilities include testing, installing, repairing, rebuilding, rewiring, replacing, and fabricating parts for a variety of heavy machinery. This role requires the ability to receive, store, and distribute parts and supplies while working under limited supervision to ensure operational readiness.
