JT4 provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract (J-Tech II). About the Role
This position serves as a Technical Lead and mentor for a section of maintenance trades specialists and general maintenance workers. Working independently, you will apply high-level skills across multiple maintenance trades—including electrical, mechanical/HVAC, structural, carpentry, and plumbing—to effectively complete repairs of facilities, machinery, and related subsystems.
As a Subject Matter Expert for your primary trade, you will schedule preventative and corrective maintenance, installs, and projects for the Site Support shop. You will also prepare, review, and update Local Work Cards and Lock Out Tag Out procedures for all systems maintained, while supporting projects with detailed instructions on intent and scope. This role requires balancing office-based planning with hands-on work in shop or repair facilities, often under moderate noise conditions or extreme weather.
