About the Role
This position serves as a vital support pillar for the Superintendent, engineering staff, and Project Manager, assisting in the management of all construction project aspects. The role is predominately field-based, bridging the gap between project administration and on-site operations. You will play a key part in ensuring projects are executed safely, accurately, and efficiently from pre-construction through close-out.
Day in the Life
Your work will involve interpreting specifications, designs, and drawings to prepare quantity takeoffs and verify work-in-place quantities for invoicing. You will maintain critical documentation, including submittal logs, as-built drawings, and RFI logs, while ensuring craft timecards and cost codes are accurate. The role requires active participation in constructability reviews, value engineering functions, and quality control activities. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Safety Department to maintain accurate safety records, take weekly jobsite photographs, and assist in preparing project status reports and meeting minutes.
