As a Project Engineer within the DHI Engineering organization, you will serve as the main point of contact for day-to-day interactions with clients and jurisdictional agencies. You will act as the team lead for all internal activities, responsible for the preparation and coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects. This role requires you to plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and accepted engineering practices.
You will manage a project team consisting of E.I.T.s, CAD Designers, Technicians, sub-consultants, and contractors. Your day-to-day focus will include coordinating construction phase services, such as site visits, bid documents, submittal reviews, and pay applications. You will identify, interpret, and resolve technical project issues with minimal oversight, ensuring effective communication between all disciplines.
