Apogee Solutions, a Woman-Owned Small Business, is seeking a Field Consultant to support the Department of Defense Military OneSource program throughout Arizona. This role is critical for ensuring service members and their families have unlimited 24/7 access to vital information, referrals, and counseling services across the state.
As a Field Consultant, you will serve as the bridge between the Military OneSource program and the communities you serve. Your mission is to increase awareness of available resources, facilitate access to support systems, and identify unmet needs within local communities. By engaging with military and civilian stakeholders, you will help the program maintain visibility into regional conditions and adapt services to better support participants.
Your work will be dynamic and community-focused. You will conduct targeted outreach activities, particularly reaching service members and families in geographically dispersed, remote, or underserved locations. A significant portion of your time will be spent engaging with stakeholders to promote program awareness and building professional relationships with resource providers and community organizations.
You will collaborate with third-party programs to build coalitions connecting Federal, state, and local resources to Active Duty, Guard, and Reserve families. This involves identifying gaps in services and determining methods to fill them in collaboration with Military OneSource, the DoD, State Joint Force HQ, and civilian partners. You will also support events ranging from relocation assistance and financial management to domestic violence prevention and transition assistance.
In addition to field engagement, you will provide briefings to unit and family support staff, facilitate networks of volunteers, and document all activities, interactions, and community data to ensure accurate reporting and program visibility. This role requires the ability to operate independently in a field-based environment while traveling regionally to support program requirements.
