About the Role
We are answering a call to action to expand our existing roster with an innovative Field Adjuster based in the San Diego area of California. This is a 1099 position designed for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You will serve as the frontline investigator for residential and commercial property claims, utilizing your expertise to navigate complex coverage issues and deliver thorough, well-documented solutions.
In this role, you will conduct field inspections, investigate claims by obtaining recorded statements from insureds and witnesses, and interview relevant officials such as fire or police departments. Your work involves analyzing coverage forms and endorsements to provide a clear analysis of coverage issues in initial captioned reports. You will also be responsible for recommending claim reserves based on your investigations and preparing essential documents like Statements of Loss, Proofs of Loss, and denial letters. Success in this position requires strong time management, customer service skills, and the ability to maintain high product quality through compliance with established best practices.
