About the Role
This position is dedicated to the safe and efficient handling and packing of finished goods into shipping boxes. The role ensures that quality products are produced at a consistent rate of speed, adhering strictly to machine standards and production goals. Team members will follow specific job ticket instructions to determine size, quantity, stack patterns, and labeling requirements for each production run.
The day-to-day involves assembling corrugated shipping cases, packing converted materials, and ensuring proper sealing and palletizing. You will rotate through different responsibilities and packing lines as needed, assisting with feeding product through converting or shrink wrap machines. A key part of the role is maintaining quality standards by identifying defective parts, communicating issues to leadership, and ensuring proper scrapping procedures to minimize waste.
Safety is paramount; you will actively look for unsafe behaviors, wear appropriate PPE, and maintain situational awareness. The role also requires maintaining a clean work environment in accordance with Food Safety and 5S programs, recording production data accurately, and collaborating with the plant team to improve operations and reduce waste.

- Hours: 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM EST, Monday through Thursday
