The Operations Technician, Wax Operator is a vital part of our manufacturing team, responsible for setting up dies and executing wax injection molding processes for all products and machines. This role involves performing the wax assembly process using specialized tools such as handheld torches, heating elements, dental picks, and abrasive cleaning pads. You will also handle routine cleaning of wax patterns, visual inspections of completed molds, and the hand fabrication of gates according to specific tech cards.
In this position, you will report to the Supervisor of Operations and play a key role in maintaining our high standards of quality and safety. You will be expected to support Lean Manufacturing and EHS initiatives, maintain a clean and organized work area, and assist in training new personnel as directed. The role requires close attention to detail, as you will perform dimensional inspections using tools like calipers and pin gauges, and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
