This position serves as a critical strategic partner to the Superintendent, dedicated to maximizing the effective and compliant use of federal funds at Southern Rivers High School. The primary mission is to drive academic achievement, boost graduation rates, and address the unique needs of non-traditional students through the rigorous management of federal initiatives.
The role acts as the bridge between complex federal regulations and on-the-ground school implementation. You will direct and oversee a portfolio of federal programs, including Title I, Title II, Title III (English Learners), and Title EV. Beyond program planning and evaluation, you will ensure fiscal responsibility by developing and monitoring budgets in close coordination with the Finance Department. A key component of the day-to-day work involves maintaining strict compliance with federal and state laws, preparing for state and federal monitoring visits, and aligning these programs with the district's broader strategic goals.
In addition to fiscal and programmatic oversight, this role provides essential technical assistance to school and district administrators and leads professional development efforts to support federal initiatives. Success in this position requires the ability to develop effective working relationships and communicate complex policies clearly.
Please note that all vacancy postings are pending Board approval. Applications will not be considered until three references have been received.
