We are seeking an Administrator to direct the overall administrative, financial, and operational activities of our large academic Neuroscience department. Reporting directly to the Department Director or Executive Leader, this role serves as a strategic partner in advancing departmental priorities and major initiatives. The position is critical for ensuring the department's growth, viability, and operational excellence within the School of Medicine.
You will provide comprehensive oversight of financial management, strategic planning, research administration, human resources, and facilities. Your day involves collaborating with faculty and staff to formulate and implement departmental programs, analyzing complex financial data to advise leadership on risks and opportunities, and managing the allocation of space and resources. You will act as a key liaison between the department, the Institute for Basic Biomedical Sciences, and central university leadership, ensuring consistent communication and alignment with institutional goals.
