About the Role

This position seeks an experienced Federal Superintendent to lead on-site construction efforts for a high-security SCIF renovation project in Lakewood, NJ. The role is designed for a hands-on leader with Department of Defense (DoD) project experience who can manage complex federal construction contracts while ensuring compliance with strict security and safety standards.

You will serve as the primary on-site authority, overseeing all construction activities within a larger $50M federal contract. The position involves managing day-to-day field operations, coordinating with subcontractors, and driving scheduling to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget. A key aspect of the role is maintaining rigorous quality control by coordinating with project managers, government stakeholders, and inspectors. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards and managing the execution and documentation of contracts ranging from $500K to $15M+.

This is an immediate opportunity to join a multi-phase, high-profile Naval project. You will provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to field teams to ensure operational excellence within a secure environment.

Hiring Process

Candidates must be eligible for access to military installations and able to pass a full background screening. The role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance or higher (DISCO).
