About the Role
The Fire Protection Trade Manager leads and oversees the fire protection field installation process for new construction projects. This role is defined by a hands-on, teacher-and-coach leadership approach. You will be responsible for ensuring fire protection systems are installed correctly, safely, and efficiently in accordance with design documents, codes, ACI standards, and project schedules.
Beyond technical oversight, you will actively mentor foremen, fitters, mechanics, and apprentices. By providing clear instruction, field training, and constructive feedback, you will continuously improve workmanship, productivity, and the professional development of your team. You will serve as a vital link between the construction team, planning, scheduling, and engineering functions, ensuring that quality standards and company vision are met across multiple job sites.

Requirements
- verified10 years commercial fire protection supervision
- verified10 years hands-on fire protection trade work or equivalent vocational training
- verifiedClean driving record
- verifiedHS diploma or GED equivalent
Nice to Have
OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certification. Fire protection Master's License (DPOR). NICET Level I - ITM Certification (Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance). NICET Level I - WBS Certification (Water-Based Fire Protection Systems). Prior military experience. HS diploma or GED equivalent.
