The Client Services Delivery team at SMX deploys innovative products to federal customers. We are currently focusing on the CFO Control Tower Budget and Spend (BAS) solution, a pre-built planning and reporting platform running on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) designed specifically for the federal government.
We are seeking a Federal Budget Consultant to lead the implementation of the BAS solution for a federal customer. This role exists to bridge the gap between complex federal budgeting processes and technical system execution. You will serve as the subject matter expert, ensuring that the solution accurately reflects federal planning, programming, and budgeting requirements.
In this position, you will document and communicate budgetary processes, federal budget policies, and reporting requirements to the project team. You will translate these needs into business requirements and functional design documents, creating mockups and visual aids to guide technical development. Your day-to-day involves developing test plans, managing testing execution, and conducting solution demos and presentations at all levels of the federal agency. This is a full-time, multi-year contract role offering 100% remote work.
Selected applicants will be subject to a background investigation and/or education verification. Candidates must possess a Public Trust clearance or be able to obtain one.
