Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch is dedicated to supporting youth and families through a trauma-informed approach. Our mission is rooted in providing a safe, stable environment where children and families can heal and thrive. We value reliability, a strong work ethic, and the desire to serve as positive role models in the lives of those we serve.
As a Family Unification Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting families in crisis, including those involved with Child and Family Services or navigating divorce and parenting plans. Your primary focus is to provide services both in and out of the client's home, operating under the belief that reunification is in the children's best interest whenever the home and parents are safe.
In this part-time position, you will partner with families to offer coaching, training, and monitoring for safety. You will help build educational, emotional, and community support systems while conducting risk assessments and maintaining confidentiality. The role involves facilitating the reunification process, which may include supervised visitation, and ensuring a healthy relationship conducive to client growth. This position offers the potential to transition to full-time as caseload and program needs grow.
Interested candidates should submit their application detailing their relevant experience and education. The selection process includes a review of qualifications, including a mandatory criminal record and child abuse registry background check as required by the State of Montana. Successful candidates will be expected to obtain and maintain certification in First Aid/CPR and Violence Intervention Prevention.
We are committed to fostering a culture of compassion, non-judgmental support, and trust. We seek individuals who can effectively engage with diverse populations, including those facing mental health challenges, chemical dependency issues, or disabilities. As a representative of YBGR, you will work constructively with DPHHS partners, judicial court representatives, and internal teams to achieve strategic goals and outcomes.
