Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage scheduling for court dates, mediations, client meetings, and critical case deadlines
- check_circleOpen and maintain digital and physical case files ensuring accuracy and timely updates
- check_circlePrepare, draft, and format family law documents including pleadings, motions, and financial affidavits
- check_circleManage discovery processes by tracking deadlines, organizing document production, and maintaining case summaries
- check_circleFile legal documents with courts via eFiling systems and coordinate service of process
- check_circleTrack and record billable time accurately and assist in maintaining retainer balance awareness
- check_circleSupport attorneys in case preparation and execution of legal strategy through organization and documentation
- check_circleCommunicate with clients professionally and empathetically while handling sensitive or high-conflict situations
Requirements
- verified2-3 years experience working under an attorney in a family law firm
