Boys Town has been changing the way America cares for children and families since 1917. What began as a small boardinghouse in downtown Omaha, Nebraska, has grown into one of the largest national child and family care organizations in the country. With the addition of the Boys Town National Research Hospital in 1977, our services expanded into healthcare and research, offering career opportunities for those looking to make a real difference.
Our mission is to make the world a better place for children, families, patients, and communities. We cultivate a culture of belonging that respects individual strengths, views, and experiences, believing that our differences enable us to be a better team that drives innovation and delivers better results.
This position serves as a vital link in our Family Home Program, managing and supporting Family-Teachers and Assistant Family-Teachers within assigned homes. You will oversee the proper implementation of the program, ensuring safe and effective service provision for youth while maintaining strict compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.
In this role, you will foster deep family engagement, creating mutual partnerships between families and staff. Your day involves supervising youth services, reviewing medication logs, and analyzing progress to identify solutions for challenges. You will facilitate team meetings, coordinate with external agencies like schools and parents, and support youth and family activities ranging from athletics to school ceremonies. Beyond operations, you are responsible for developing the skills of your team through observation, feedback, and training on topics such as crisis intervention and home maintenance.
Care and respect for others is more than a commitment at Boys Town – it is the foundation of who we are and what we do. We offer a unique benefits package that reflects our dedication to our employees' well-being. This includes reduced to no-cost visits for services performed by a Boys Town provider, low to zero-dollar co-pays on certain maintenance drugs, and no-cost mental health visits to in-network providers. We also support your future with a generous 401K match, tuition reimbursement, and professional development opportunities.
