Sierra Donor Services in New Mexico is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Family Care Manager to join our mission to save lives. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of the OPO's organ and tissue authorization activities. You will oversee the implementation of donor family services policies and procedures, ensuring that quality practices are employed and that all local protocols are adhered to.
In this position, you will provide supervision and support to family care staff, assuming on-call duties to guide the team through the various aspects of the authorization process. You will lead quality authorization training based on identified opportunities to increase authorization rates and are responsible for the overall performance of family care staff and authorization outcomes. The role requires extensive on-call availability to support family conversations and provide on-site responses when necessary.
