The Facilities Project Coordinator serves as a vital support pillar for the Facilities Management department, coordinating intermediate to complex facilities operations, small construction projects, and tenant improvements. This role exists to ensure the seamless execution of fast-paced projects ranging from insurance-related restoration work to new tenant fit-outs.
In this position, you will partner with ASU Project Managers and tenants to drive projects from initiation to closeout. Your day will involve scoping work, verifying existing conditions, and devising detailed design and construction execution plans. You will act as a central hub, coordinating with contractors to acquire pricing, managing electronic data folders and project documents, and ensuring strict adherence to ASU project guidelines, quality standards, and environmental health and safety protocols. The role requires a strategic approach to scheduling and monitoring quality to ensure quick, expeditious execution of work.

Experience with Bluebeam software, reading and interpreting plans and specifications and comparing them with construction in progress, cost estimating, budgeting, and scheduling. Demonstrated knowledge of building construction, materials, and methods, facilities planning and construction management processes and procedures, and effective communication skills.
