The Facilities Operations Specialist serves as the on-site project liaison at the Texas A&M University Health Science Center Houston campus. Under general supervision, this role coordinates and monitors routine, preventative, and planned facility maintenance, including mechanical and electrical operations, HVAC, custodial, and landscaping. The primary mission is to ensure each building remains a comfortable and safe environment for faculty, staff, students, and guests.
Beyond technical oversight, the specialist provides meaningful communication, training, and development to end users. You will evaluate the level of service provided through constant communication with assigned units, conducting building audits and inspections, and utilizing data analysis and reporting to drive continuous improvement.
