The Facility Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our facilities, buildings, and surrounding property. This position is dedicated to the comprehensive upkeep of infrastructure, equipment, and grounds, serving as the first line of defense for operational continuity.
In this role, you will perform a blend of preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Your work ensures that our environment remains clean, organized, and compliant with all safety standards and regulations. From routine inspections to seasonal preparations like snow removal, you will be instrumental in maintaining a secure and functional workspace for everyone.
Your day will likely begin with a review of maintenance logs and work orders to prioritize tasks. You will move between indoor and outdoor environments, utilizing hand and power tools to address everything from fixture replacements to complex system diagnostics. Whether responding to an urgent operational issue, coordinating with outside vendors, or assisting with special event setups, you will work independently to solve problems while collaborating with the team to support overall facility operations.
Candidates selected for this role will be invited to discuss their experience and technical skills in an interview setting. Successful applicants will proceed to a final review before receiving an offer.
