- check_circleImplement and supervise the regional Export Controls Officer group
- check_circleEnable business units to adhere to all policies and directives
- check_circleImplement effective risk management strategies for the region
Requirements
- verified11+ years of Export Controls and Associate Degree OR Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of experience
- verifiedIn-depth knowledge of sanctions and export control laws in North America
- verifiedKnowledge of EAR and OFAC
- verifiedExperience in creating and delivering effective training
- verifiedStrong internal audit skills
- verifiedIndefinite U.S. work authorization required
Nice to Have
Demonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions in adherence to compliance, regulations and policies. Demonstrated ability to identify and understand issues and resolve inquiries and develop appropriate solutions quickly, effectively and independently. Knowledge of sanctions and export control laws in the EU & UN. Ability to effectively coordinate activities and collaborate with groups. Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Experience in the automotive industry.
