The Expo (Food Expeditor) serves as the critical bridge between the kitchen and the front-of-house, ensuring that every dish leaves the kitchen accurately, efficiently, and to our quality standards. This role is designed for someone who is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and thrives in a fast-paced setting.
In this position, you will act as the primary point of communication during service, organizing and prioritizing tickets to guarantee timely food delivery. You will coordinate food runners, communicate clearly with servers, and anticipate the needs of both teams during peak hours. Beyond coordination, you will maintain a clean and organized expo line, assist with light prep, garnish, or plating as needed, and uphold all food safety and sanitation standards.
