About the Role

The Expo position is the vital link between the kitchen and the dining experience at Ruby Tuesday. This role ensures all food orders are prepared promptly, adhering strictly to guest special requests and company recipes. The Expo acts as the conductor of the kitchen, communicating with both service and "heart of house" teams to expedite food deliveries for TueGo, catering, the dining room, and bar areas.

In this fast-paced environment, you will manage the flow of service using the Kitchen Display System (KDS), ensuring cost control and waste reduction while maintaining the highest quality of food preparation and presentation. From organizing table orders to managing re-cooks and special allergen requests, the Expo plays a critical role in creating a teamwork-based atmosphere that supports guest satisfaction and drives repeat business.

Hiring Process

No prior work experience is required to apply for this position. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess the ability to provide friendly guest service and comply with all federal, state, and local food handling regulations. The role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic setting.
