Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced/Senior Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) Engineer to join the Flight Systems Engineering Capability in Berkeley, MO. This role is critical to supporting the T-7A Red Hawk program, focusing on new product design, development, integration, and flight test for flight control and subsystem control.
In this position, you will partner with multidisciplinary teams to define mission requirements and ensure traceability from the system level down to components. You will develop and refine complex, nonlinear 6-degree-of-freedom simulation models using data from aerodynamics, mass properties, and propulsion. Your work will directly influence the design of flight control laws and tools to achieve performance targets, utilizing advanced analysis to assess and refine control logic. You will also collaborate with flight simulation and Vehicle Management Systems (VMS) software engineers to incorporate control laws into operational flight programs, ensuring the final product meets or exceeds customer expectations.

Level 4: 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. Experience with system and component modeling. Experience with implementing algorithms in a real time system. Experience programming in C/C#. Advanced Control Systems courses. Experience using Matlab/Simulink or MatrixX.
