About the Team
The Main Operating Room at Mercy St. Louis Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center and Burn Center, delivering high-quality surgical care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics. Our facility features 27 operating rooms staffed by dedicated teams across several service lines:
- General Surgery: General, burn, plastics, bariatric, and colorectal.
- Gyn Service Line: GYN, urology, and robotics.
- Specialty Service Line: Orthopedics and neurosurgery.
- ENT Service Line: ENT, OMF, dental, pediatrics, and ophthalmology.
This position is for the off-shift team.
About the Role
As a Main Operating Room RN II, you will utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care while maintaining professional accountability for your assigned patients. You will evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Your duties will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are always maintained.
