About the Role
MedStar Harbor Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Combined ICU/IMC unit for part-time and full-time night shifts. This 23-bed unit primarily cares for medical patients, with a subset requiring cardiac and invasive monitoring. The team is supported by a dedicated Intensivist on staff who makes acuity determinations, ensuring an excellent level of care focused on continuity for nurses.
This position is ideal for a nurse interested in transitioning to a higher acuity patient population. You will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs, from routine to highly complex. Your day will involve assessing evolving patient conditions, identifying actual and potential health concerns, and developing appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team.

To apply, please ensure you hold an active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN, along with Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification (AHA or American Red Cross). A degree from an accredited School of Nursing (ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL) is required. Prior clinical nursing experience is preferred.
MedStar Health offers a systemwide referral bonus program, up to $6,000 for each RN and up to $4,000 for each LPN that joins the organization. Relocation assistance of up to $5,000 and free parking for associates are also available.
