About the Role

As an Experienced Commercial Door Technician, you will play a crucial role in our field operations. You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide variety of commercial doors, docks, and hardware. This role is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and takes pride in their mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.

Your day-to-day involves traveling to customer sites to address complex service calls. You will diagnose issues ranging from broken springs and hinges to electrical components and access control systems. Beyond technical repairs, you will serve as the face of Vortex Doors, providing excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and offering cost-effective solutions. Attention to detail is paramount, as you will ensure all work meets strict safety and building code regulations.

Hiring Process and Application

To join our team, applicants must have at least 3+ years of experience in the commercial door service industry. The selection process includes a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle check. Successful candidates will be expected to possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive a company vehicle to conduct service visits.
