About the Role
As an Expedition Guide, you will be the voice and face of our adventures on Southeast Alaskan waters. You will develop engaging tour narratives and conduct natural history presentations for groups of up to 16 passengers aboard our Demaree Inflatable Boats (DIBs). Your role is to create a personalized experience by working closely with the captain to spot wildlife and share the unique story of the region's glaciology, wildlife, and human history.
Beyond narration, you are a vital part of the guest experience, assisting passengers with safety gear, guiding boarding and disembarkation, and ensuring a seamless journey. This position requires a blend of outdoor resilience, public speaking confidence, and a genuine passion for connecting people with nature.

Hiring Process
Candidates must possess valid CPR/First Aid certification prior to their first day. Please note that a pre-employment drug screening and enrollment in a random drug testing program are required by the United States Coast Guard. We look for individuals who are reliable, well-groomed, and capable of working flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, to meet tour demand during the season.
