About the Role

Highmark Health is seeking a dedicated Executive Protection Specialist to serve as the primary guardian for our executive leadership team. This role is critical to ensuring the safety and security of our leaders while they navigate complex enterprise-wide operations. The incumbent acts as a proactive risk manager, anticipating threats and executing seamless security protocols with minimal disruption to daily business activities.

In this position, you will operate with a high degree of independence and discretion. You will be expected to respond instantly to evolving situations, whether managing routine travel logistics or handling critical security incidents. The role demands a service-oriented mindset, requiring you to not only react to threats but to analyze, mitigate, and plan strategic countermeasures for both domestic and international travel. You will serve as a vital liaison between the executive team, internal stakeholders, and external partners, including law enforcement agencies.

Beyond physical security, this role involves conducting internal investigations into potential employee misconduct, fraud, theft, or corruption. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity, ensuring that sensitive information and executive movements remain secure at all times.
