About the Role
The Executive Director of Nursing serves as a strategic leader and a member of the Chief Nursing Officer's administrative team. In this capacity, you will provide leadership and management for a complex service line, partnering with hospital leadership, medical staff, and other departments to create a center of excellence that aligns with the hospital's vision and goals. You will act as the designee for assigned responsibilities, holding leaders and staff accountable for the delivery of safe, quality care through effective communication, fiscal accountability, and transformational leadership.
As the chief safety officer for your service line, you will instill a culture of safety by employing safety-first interventions and mentoring leaders to do the same. You will leverage data and technology to make proactive decisions, mitigate risks, and ensure the organization meets or exceeds all licensure, regulatory, and accreditation standards. This role is pivotal in fostering a desirable work environment that enables the organization to achieve its mission while supporting the voice of the patient and system policies.
