The Executive Director will lead the Carl H. Lindner III Center for Insurance and Risk Management, a Global Center of Insurance Excellence (GCIE). This role serves as a dynamic hub connecting industry leaders, alumni, faculty, and students to advance the insurance and risk management profession. The position is pivotal in expanding the Center's impact, partnerships, and presence on a broader stage.
Reporting to the Senior Director for Lindner Centers and Institutes, you will drive the Center's strategic vision within the nationally ranked Lindner College of Business. Your day-to-day will involve cultivating relationships with corporate partners and the IRM Advisory Board, managing the Center's staff and budget, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration across finance, data analytics, and actuarial science. You will also have the opportunity to engage directly with students, supporting organizations like Gamma Iota Sigma, and potentially participate in classroom education as an adjunct professor.
This is a hybrid role (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) for candidates residing within the OH/IN/KY tri-state area, subject to a 90-day training period. The position can be structured as 75% or 100% FTE.
