About the Role

The Executive Sous Chef is a pivotal leader responsible for overseeing culinary staff and developing solutions that meet rigorous production, presentation, and service standards. In this role, you will apply advanced culinary techniques to food preparation while managing the final presentation and service of dishes. You will act as a bridge between the kitchen and the guest, ensuring that every meal delivered aligns with the Aramark Food Framework and Operational Excellence fundamentals.

Your day involves more than just cooking; it is about cultivating a culture of quality and safety. You will manage a diverse culinary team, including chef managers and hourly staff, coaching them to achieve shared goals and utilizing best practices for food production. From planning team meetings and daily huddles to interacting directly with guests to build rapport, you will ensure that culinary operations run efficiently while maintaining the integrity of the standard food offer. You will also aggregate regional trends and manage supply chain processes to deliver on food and labor targets.
