Sodexo Senior Living is seeking an Executive Chef to support our culinary operations at Ozanam Hall of Queens in Queens, NY. This is a great opportunity to grow your culinary career within a 432-bed senior living community that includes skilled nursing, short-term rehab, memory care, and hospice services. Ozanam Hall was recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a Best Nursing Home and Short-Term Rehab – Top Performing facility in 2026.
In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of 22 FTEs, including cooks, supervisors, and frontline kitchen staff. Your day-to-day involves overseeing all aspects of food production, procurement, quality assurance, and safety. You will implement and standardize culinary systems and procedures, ranging from catering and garnishing to inventory control and kitchen safety. Through a hands-on leadership approach, you will train and develop the culinary team to ensure high standards of food presentation and operational excellence.
The typical schedule runs from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with rotating weekend coverage as needed.
