About the Team

The Hilton Santa Barbara Resort is an oceanfront oasis located near the vibrant Funk Zone District. Our dynamic Events Team is dedicated to hosting all types of celebrations in our array of event spaces. We are looking for a new Events Coordinator to join our friendly workplace environment and support our Catering & Event Managers in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

About the Role

As an Events Coordinator, you will be the backbone of our catering and events operations. Your day will involve organizing and prioritizing duties to develop effective plans and goals. You will serve as the first point of contact for internal and external clients, handling phone calls, emails, and in-person greetings with professionalism and courtesy.

You will manage the logistical details of our events, including inputting programs into booking systems, coordinating site visits, and arranging VIP guest experiences. A significant part of your role involves creating and communicating essential documents such as Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), group resumes, post-event reports, menus, and floor plans. You will work closely with affiliate groups and assist with the sales process, ensuring high-quality service by analyzing issues and determining the best solutions for our clients.
