The Events and Venue Manager serves as an integral leader in the growth and success of All Classical Radio's state-of-the-art Irving Levin Performance Hall and James DePreist Recording Studio, located in the KOIN Tower. This position oversees the full lifecycle of venue rentals, partnerships, and station events, acting as the primary liaison for renters, partners, and vendors.
In this dynamic role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the hall and studio, from initial promotions and scheduling to logistics planning, event execution, and post-event follow-up. You will coordinate a roster of contractors, including audio engineers and videographers, while ensuring the physical spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality. The role requires a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with Management and Marketing teams to envision new opportunities that maximize venue use, community impact, and organizational revenue.
Your day-to-day will involve a diverse array of activities, including managing performances, recording sessions, live broadcasts, workshops, and networking events. You will also play a key role in station initiatives, such as the weekly "Thursdays @ Three" live concert broadcasts, donor receptions, and open houses. Success in this position demands a balance of logistical precision and creative problem-solving, ensuring that every event reflects the excellence and values of All Classical Radio.
