About the Role
The Donor Coordinator is a vital link between our organization and the community supporters who make our recovery mission possible. Reporting directly to the President, this role serves as the primary point of contact for donors, sponsors, and community partners. The position exists to ensure that every contribution—whether financial or in-kind—is acknowledged, tracked, and stewarded with care, directly advancing the organization's long-term sustainability.
In this role, you will work closely with the Communications Manager to bring donor campaigns to life. Your day will involve nurturing relationships with individuals and businesses, coordinating personalized thank-you communications, and ensuring supporters clearly see the impact of their gifts on recovery programs. You will manage the administrative backbone of our fundraising efforts, from processing donations in Bloomerang to tracking campaign performance metrics. The ideal candidate is passionate about recovery, highly organized, and outgoing, ready to turn donor data into meaningful engagement.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleCollaborate with Communications Manager to create targeted donor communications, newsletters, and impact reports
- check_circleMaintain accurate donor records, gift entries, and fundraising documentation in Bloomerang
- check_circleProcess donations efficiently including online gifts, checks, sponsorships, and recurring contributions
- check_circleAssist in planning and administering annual giving campaigns, peer-to-peer campaigns, and special fundraising initiatives
- check_circleTrack campaign timelines, donor outreach activities, sponsorship commitments, and fundraising goals
- check_circleAssist with soliciting in-kind donations from businesses and community partners for programs and events
- check_circleLead major event committees and coordinate sponsorship tracking, registration, and donor recognition at events
