Odyssey Mobile Adventures is a growing team dedicated to bringing high-energy entertainment to events across the DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Delaware areas. Our mission is to create memorable experiences for parties, fairs, and festivals by operating mobile attractions like Axe Throwing and Rage Rooms. We are looking for individuals who are not just drivers, but the lively, personable face of our brand, ready to grow with us as we expand our reach.

About the Role

As an Event Runner and Driver, you will be the backbone of our mobile operations. Your day will involve driving a truck and pulling a trailer from our home base in Huntingtown, MD, to various event locations. Once on site, you will manage the fluid operation of our games, ensuring a safe and fun environment for every customer.

This role is perfect for someone who is outgoing, casual-loving, and thrives in a laid-back atmosphere. You will be responsible for greeting customers, providing safety briefings, and offering tips to enhance their experience. Time management is key to keeping the game flow moving, ensuring every group feels fulfilled before the next one arrives. After the event, you will handle the teardown, repacking, and cleaning of the trailer.

Training and Growth

We believe in investing in our team. You will receive paid training on operating our units, driving the truck and trailer (including reversing and situating in tight spaces), and running the games effectively. During your first month, you will be paired with an experienced operator to guide you through the ropes. The long-term goal is for you to master these skills and grow with the company as we scale our operations.

Hiring Process

Interested candidates should apply directly. We are looking for individuals who can commit to weekend availability and have their own transportation to reach our Huntingtown base. Once selected, you will begin with a training period before transitioning into the role.

Employment Details

This position starts as a part-time or contractor role, with a quick pivot to a flexible schedule of 30-50 hours as we enter the warmer months. While the role is mobile, you will spend a significant amount of time at our home base as well as traveling to locations throughout the DMV area.
