About the Role
We are seeking a team member who embodies our "extra mile" philosophy to join us as a Long Haul Tractor Trailer Delivery Driver. In this role, you will be the vital link in delivering and picking up Snider customer tires and wheels, operating a 53-foot tractor-trailer with a capacity of up to 80,000 pounds. You will adhere to assigned routes and time schedules set by the Branch Manager, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and safely.
Your day-to-day involves operating commercial tires and wheels (Class 5 through 8) to various customers, managing client delivery schedules, and handling proper loading and unloading. You will be responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of your tractor-trailer and personal equipment, as well as maintaining accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records for hours traveled, rest periods, and expenses. This role requires significant independence; you will stay overnight in the tractor-trailer sleeper two to three nights per week, interact daily with customers and personnel, and support warehouse staff with tire mounting and dismounting when needed.
