About the Role
As a CDL-A Route Driver, you will be the frontline representative of Core-Mark, safely operating company vehicles to deliver products to convenience retail customers. This role is vital to maintaining the integrity of our supply chain, requiring you to not only transport goods but also verify orders, unload freight, and provide exceptional customer service to store personnel. You will work in a dynamic logistics environment where your attention to detail and adherence to safety standards directly impact our customers' success.
Your day-to-day involves following assigned delivery routes, performing thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and collaborating closely with dispatch and warehouse teams to resolve any route issues or delays. You will act as a guardian of product quality, ensuring food safety and product integrity standards are met during transport while handling freight with care using equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks.
Hiring Process
