About the Role

Customer Service Specialists at Sherwin-Williams work closely with both wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about our products, and recommend the right solutions. This role is designed to ensure maximum client satisfaction by promptly resolving concerns while maintaining the high quality and visual standards of our products and store. Specialists are expected to stay up-to-date with product features and achieve excellent service while consistently meeting the store's sales goals.

The position involves direct contact with customers, including minors, and access to cash, payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, and store merchandise. This access may be supervised or unsupervised, necessitating a review of criminal history to protect the business, its operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, and the general public.

This specific role is based at Store #4379, located at 2380 Erie Boulevard East, Syracuse, NY 13224.

Hiring Process

Step 1 – Online Application Find the role(s) that interest you on our Careers page. Set aside 15 minutes to create your profile by entering or importing your details from one of our job board partners.

Step 2 – Digital Interview Upon review of your application, qualified candidates will be invited to complete a digital video interview via HireVue. This interview consists of a few behavioral-based questions. You can record and complete your video interview anytime, anywhere, on your own schedule, though we ask that this step be completed within 7 days of receiving an invitation.

Step 3 – In-Store Interview Your video interview is reviewed by a member of our Recruitment team. Top candidates are invited to meet with our team in a store, specialty wholesale branch, floorcovering facility, or delivery service terminal.
