About the Role

This position is designed to assist in the management of client relationships within the Equipment Finance and Renewable Energy sectors. The role focuses on underwriting and servicing a wide variety of commercial loans and leases to build long-term, profitable customer relationships that maximize portfolio asset and revenue growth while maintaining high asset quality.

You will work in concert with Senior Product Managers and Relationship Managers to independently analyze and complete complex credit approval documentation. Your day-to-day involves conducting client due diligence, preparing credit underwriting packages, and recommending approval structures and exposure levels. A key part of your mission is identifying key risks and mitigation strategies to promote both business growth and effective credit risk management. You will also be responsible for the ongoing portfolio management of assigned relationships, including annual reviews, renewals, and covenant compliance.

As you grow in this role, you will develop deep expertise across diverse industries such as transportation, manufacturing, renewable energy, agriculture, and construction. You will also contribute to transaction structuring and educate clients on financial strategies relevant to equipment finance and general banking needs, ensuring customer profiles are matched with appropriate products and services.

Candidates may be considered for the Senior Credit Analyst level (one job level below) if their experience aligns better with that scope; duties and compensation will be calibrated to the final level determined. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of ownership, flexibility in responding to deadlines, and the ability to work independently within the framework of the role.
