Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Equal Opportunity, the Specialist serves as a vital resource for the entire University community, including students, faculty, and staff across all campuses. This role is dedicated to responding to and resolving concerns related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and related conduct. Beyond investigation, the Specialist provides essential consultation, programming, education, and outreach to foster a safe and inclusive environment.
In this capacity, you will serve as a Clery Campus Security Authority. The position requires navigating complex interpersonal dynamics to facilitate conflict resolution, manage concurrent investigations with law enforcement, and ensure compliance with federal and state laws. You will be a key voice in adjudication processes, providing training to hearing panelists and leading sustained dialogues to promote a culture of respect and accountability.
