The Rural Health Data & Coalition Performance Analyst serves as a critical bridge between the Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) and the state's Healthcare Coalitions (HCCs). This role is a cornerstone of the Rural Health Transformation Fund (THRIVE) initiative, designed to standardize, collect, validate, and report performance data across rural health partners.
The position exists to ensure strict alignment with federal objectives, including CMS Rural Health Transformation goals, ASPR Healthcare Preparedness Capabilities, and Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) standards. By transforming raw data into actionable intelligence, the analyst supports data-driven decision-making and fulfills essential federal reporting requirements.
You will function as the primary liaison between TDH Central Office, Regional and Metro Public Health entities, and diverse coalition partners. Your work involves developing standardized data collection frameworks and coordinating with Regional Healthcare Coordinators to ensure consistent reporting. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to analyzing trends in healthcare access, workforce development, and operational readiness, translating these findings into monthly and quarterly reports, dashboards, and executive briefings for TDH leadership.
Candidates selected for this position will undergo a comprehensive background verification process conducted by Accurate/InfoCubic. This includes a TN Combined Counties & Statewide Search, covering address history, national and state criminal records (7-year search), sex offender registry checks, and global watchlist screenings.
This is a hybrid/remote role requiring regular coordination with statewide partners. While the position offers flexibility, travel may be required to support direct coalition engagement and on-site data validation efforts.
