About the Role
This position serves as a specialized expert in Epic product functions, focusing on design, build, and testing for Clinical applications. The role is designed to bridge the gap between technical configuration and clinical workflow, ensuring the Epic system is built in a timely, professional manner that meets the specific needs of end users.
You will lead multiple projects from inception to delivery, setting processes and influencing technology frameworks to drive success. The role involves managing small to medium complexity software upgrade initiatives and enhancements, covering the full lifecycle of design, build, and testing. Beyond technical execution, you will provide technical and clinical consultation, analyzing system needs to develop strategic recommendations for customers.
A significant portion of the work involves collaborating with end users to refine workflows, ensuring appropriate documentation, validation, and issue escalation. You will perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, and report details, while maintaining all required system design and build documentation. The ideal candidate will possess direct client healthcare domain knowledge, including clinical documentation workflows, order sets, patient portals, and patient flow, with a preference for experience in complex settings such as pediatric, tertiary, or quaternary health systems.
