About the Role
The Environmental, Health and Safety Manager serves as a strategic partner and change agent within the North American operations. Working closely with the NA Environmental and Health & Safety Departments, this role ensures the consistent execution of regional policies and strategies. The position is designed to advise site leadership on EH&S objectives, challenge the status quo to drive meaningful improvement, and confidently push back when necessary to maintain compliance and best practices.
At its core, this role integrates Environmental, Health, and Safety into the site culture. The manager leads all phases of the plant's programs, from planning and promotion to follow-up, while actively creating new methods to engage employees in a robust safety culture. It is a hands-on position requiring a collaborative leadership approach and a willingness to actively participate on the floor to anticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions through direct work site knowledge and inspections.
