Entry Level Programming Opportunity

About Year Up United

Year Up United is an intensive, one-year or less job training program designed to empower young adults with the skills and support needed to launch successful careers. The program combines in-classroom skill development with access to internships and personalized coaching and mentorship.

Participants receive technical and professional training alongside job placement support through YUPRO Placement, our industry-leading talent placement firm. Internship opportunities may be secured at leading organizations in the Wilmington area, including Bank of America, Exelon Corporation, and JP Morgan Chase.

What You Will Gain

Beyond technical expertise in areas like Customer Success, Data Analytics, and Investment Operations, students develop essential professional business and communication skills, interviewing techniques, and networking abilities. The program provides ongoing support and guidance to help you build a resume and launch your career.

During the internship phase, students earn an educational stipend of $525 per week. The program's impact is proven: 72% of Year Up United graduates are employed and/or enrolled in postsecondary education within four months of graduation, with employed graduates earning an average starting salary of $53,000 per year.

Eligibility and Application

To apply, candidates must be high school graduates or GED recipients, eligible to work in the U.S., and available Monday through Friday for the duration of the program. Applicants should be highly motivated to learn and must not have obtained a Bachelor's degree. Additional screening questions may be required during the application process.
