Year Up United is an intensive, one-year or less job training program designed to empower young adults with the skills and support needed to launch successful careers. The program combines in-classroom skill development with access to internships and personalized coaching and mentorship.
Participants receive technical and professional training alongside job placement support through YUPRO Placement, our industry-leading talent placement firm. Internship opportunities are available with leading organizations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, including Bank of America, Capital One, JPMorgan Chase, and Salesforce.
Beyond technical expertise, the program focuses on developing professional business and communication skills, interviewing and networking abilities, and resume building. Students receive ongoing support and guidance to help them transition into the workforce.
During the internship phase, students earn an educational stipend of $525 per week. The program covers in-depth classes in Application Development, Business Operations, Banking & Customer Success, IT Support, Data Analytics, Investment Operations, and Project Management.
Year Up United is committed to helping participants launch their professional careers. The program boasts a strong track record: 72% of graduates are employed and/or enrolled in postsecondary education within four months of graduation. Employed graduates earn an average starting salary of $53,000 per year.
To apply, candidates must be high school graduates or GED recipients, eligible to work in the U.S., and available Monday through Friday for the duration of the program. Applicants should be highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills and must not have obtained a Bachelor's degree. Additional screening questions may be required during the application process.
