About Year Up United

Year Up United is an intensive, one-year or less job training program designed to bridge the gap between young adults and high-growth careers. Our mission is to provide participants with in-classroom skill development, access to top-tier internships, and personalized coaching and mentorship. By combining technical and professional training with job placement support through our industry-leading talent firm, YUPRO Placement, we empower individuals to launch successful careers in leading organizations such as Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, and Merck.

The Experience

This program is more than just a course; it is a comprehensive launchpad for your professional life. Participants engage in in-depth classes covering Business Operations and Banking & Customer Success, while simultaneously developing essential professional business and communication skills. You will receive ongoing support to build your resume, master interviewing techniques, and expand your professional network.

During the internship phase, students earn an educational stipend of $525 per week. The program is designed for those who are highly motivated to learn and ready to commit to a full schedule Monday through Friday. Our track record speaks for itself: 72% of Year Up United graduates are employed or enrolled in postsecondary education within four months of graduation, with employed graduates earning an average starting salary of $53,000 per year.

Eligibility and Application

To join the Year Up United cohort, applicants must be high school graduates or GED recipients who are eligible to work in the U.S. and have not yet obtained a Bachelor's degree. Candidates must be available for the full duration of the program and demonstrate a strong drive to acquire new technical and professional skills. Additional screening questions may be required during the application process to ensure a strong fit for the program's rigorous environment.
